New Farm Nash Theatre invites you to join with us on a journey back to the golden age of radio for a great night of entertainment as they present The Maltese Falcon.
Staged as it was originally intended by Lux Radio Theatre direct from Hollywood, “The Maltese Falcon” will be presented just as it was on 3rd February 1943. Join a talented cast of Nash Theatre regulars and newcomers under the direction of 612 ABC’s theatre reviewer Nigel Munro-Wallis as they present for your entertainment and enjoyment this fabulous radio drama just as it would have been presented over sixty-five years ago.
What is the secret of The Maltese Falcon? Why are so many people – good and bad – willing to kill, kidnap and do just about anything to get their hands on it?
Join Sam Spade, the fat man and the mysterious Mr. Cairo in a magical studio setting and find out the whole sordid truth in an atmosphere of glitz and glamour for the re-staging of this wonderful piece of radio theatre from the golden age. …..Oh…and wear your best 40’s glamour outfit and join in the fun. The cast will be outfitted in full evening dress for the occasion, just as they would in 1943, so why not join them?
